Blob Generator

Overview

Blob Generator is a plugin on Figma that allows users to easily create Blob shapes.

Through the Parameter, you can adjust settings like "Growth" and "Edges", helping you craft the exact Blob shape you're seeking.

Random Blob & Fixed Blob

Additionally, Blob Generator always produces two types of blobs simultaneously Random Blob and Fixed Blob.

You can choose and use whichever you prefer at any time.

1. Random Blob : Creates a new Blob without inheriting the previous Blob's state.
2. Fixed Blob : Generates a new Blob while retaining the state of the previous Blob.

How to Use

1. Launch the plugin.
2. Adjust the "Growth" and "Edges" to get your desired Blob shape. Alternatively, you can use the automatically generated Dynamic Preset when you start the plugin. If you find a Blob in the preset group at the bottom of the screen that matches your preference, you can simply click on it.
3. Once you've adjusted the Parameter and achieved the Blob shape you're looking for, press the "Insert Blob" button. The Blob will be added to the selected location (or the center of the canvas if nothing is selected).

How to Adjust Parameters

Growth

The "Growth" parameter allows you to control the variation of the Blob.

A smaller value results in more drastic changes, whereas a larger value reduces the changes, making the shape closer to a perfect circle.

Edges

"Edges" lets you adjust the number of corners (points) the Blob has.

A smaller value will give the Blob smoother curves, while a larger value will make the Blob more jagged.

How to Use the Buttons

1. In the upper right corner of the Fixed Blob, there's a "🔄Refresh" button, which allows you to change the Seed value. By changing the Seed value, you can modify the overall design direction of the Fixed Blob.
2. In the upper right corner of the Parameter, there's a "🔀Random" button that can randomly generate Growth and Edges parameters.
3. The "🔄Refresh Presets" button in the upper right corner of the Dynamic Preset allows you to regenerate the entire Dynamic Preset.

使用方法

1. プラグインを起動します
2. 「Growth」と「Edges」をあなたの求めているBlobになるように調整してください。 またはプラグイン起動時に自動生成されるDynamic Presetもご利用頂けます。画面下部のプリセット群にあなたの好みに近いBlobがあれば、それをクリックしてもOKです。
3. Parameterを調整してあなたが求めているBlobになったら「Insert Blob」ボタンを押してください。 選択している場所（何も選択していなければキャンバスの中央）に、Blobが追加されます。

Parameterの調整方法

Growth

GrowthはBlobの変化を調整できます。 小さい数値だと変化は激しくなります。 大きい数値だと変化は少なくなり真円の形に近くなります。

Edges

EdgesはBlobが持つ角（ポイント）の数を調整できます。 小さい数値だと角が少ないのでなだらかなBlobになります。 大きい数値だと角が多いので、ギザギザなBlobになります。

ボタンの使い方

1. Fixed Blobの右上にある「🔄Reflesh」ボタンで、Seed値を変更できます。Seed値を変更することでFixed Blobの図形の方針自体を変えることができます。
2. Parameterの右上にある「🔀Random」ボタンで、GrowthとEdgesパラメーターをランダムに生成できます。
3. Dynamic Presetの右上にある「🔄Refresh Presets」ボタンは、Dynamic Preset全体を再生成することができます。
