We went through each use-case list and removed anything that was abandoned, misleading about its pricing, or duplicated a Figma feature that now ships natively. Plugins we build ourselves are labelled as such; you'll see them as separate callouts.

• Free means no price in Figma and no in-app purchases. We flag in-app purchases where they exist.
• Still maintained means a version update in the last 12 months. We dropped several high-install plugins that failed this test.

A few high-install plugins didn't make it. Layer-renaming plugins lost their reason to exist once Figma shipped Rename layers. Several design-to-code plugins have moved their real product behind a web app and left the plugin as a login prompt. And a handful of icon plugins are better installed as Community library files, where you get components you can swap and update across files.
