FontScanner

FontScanner audits typography in your Figma file. It lists every font family, weight, and size - plus how often each appears - so you can spot inconsistencies, stray styles, and cleanup opportunities before handoff or dev implementation.

What you get

1. Font types - family + weight (style) with usage counts
2. Font sizes - all pixel sizes, sorted smallest to largest (optional rem display with a configurable px base)
3. Font combinations - family + weight + size together - useful for bulk font replacement and audits
4. Scan scope - current page only, or the entire document (all pages)
5. Select - on the current page, select every text layer that matches a row and zoom the canvas to them
6. Multi-page overview - when scanning all pages, see which pages use each font or size (instead of Select)
7. Exclude invisible - skip text inside hidden layers, frames, or zero-opacity ancestors

How it helps

Use it as a quick typography report: find forgotten fonts, one-off sizes, and mismatched weights. Handy for design QA, design-system cleanup, and giving developers an accurate picture of what’s actually in the file.

Notes

Select always works on the current page, even after a document-wide scan.

Text with mixed fonts or mixed sizes (Figma’s “mixed” value) is skipped, since it can’t be tied to a single family, weight, or size.
