Annotate it!

Annotate it! makes it easy to annotate your wireframes and/or designs the smart way. Simply select a frame and click Add New to create annotations automagically.

• Select individual frames (Supports Sections)
• 🎉 Toggle annotations visibility per page 🎉
• Rename frames (only in the plugin)
• Drag to reorder
• Markdown text for smart formatting
• Smart annotation marker placement
• Assign a color for various intents
• Change the size of the markers to your needs
• Update, Edit, Delete annotations and Annotate it! reorders your annotations automatically

How does it work?

• Select a frame on your Figma page or a frame inside a section to add annotation to.
• Click Create annotation button to add an annotation to the selected frame.
• Select a color for your marker if you’d like to create annotations for different purposes.
• Click on the delete button to delete an annotation (the numbers will update auto-magically).
• You can also use markdown for formatting your annotation description:

• Click on the edit button to rename your frame group (does not rename the original frame name)
• To create annotations on other frame(s):

Select another frame on your Figma page

Click the “+” button

• To delete annotations from other frame(s):

Select the frame group from the plugin

Click the “trash” button to delete all the annotations

from that frame (this action cannot be undone)

• To hide annotations from a page: Click on the hide button (next to Frames title in the sidebar)
• To show hidden annotations on a page: Click on the show button (next to the show button)

Limitations

The current version of the plugin does not yet support:

• Better link integration
