Figma translates natively now. Select a text layer, click Actions and choose Translate to a language. That's enough for a quick check of how a screen looks in Spanish. Real localisation, with translators, a translation management system and hundreds of strings, needs a plugin that exports strings and brings them back, or one that connects to your platform. Lokalise, Phrase, Crowdin, Transifex and Localazy all have options in this list.
String variables are another native route: create a mode per language, bind text layers to variables, and switch a whole page between languages. It works well for a few key screens, but every string is maintained by hand in the variables panel.
