How to see every shortcut inside Figma
The shortcuts panel is the only list guaranteed to match your version of Figma and your keyboard. It opens with Ctrl + Shift + ? on both platforms. The Actions menu (⌘K on Mac, Ctrl + K on Windows) lets you search for a command by name when you don't know its key.

Figma's default shortcuts assume a US QWERTY keyboard. If you type on AZERTY, QWERTZ, a UK layout or one of the other supported layouts (Figma supports 15), set it in the shortcuts panel's Layout tab or under Main menu → Preferences → Keyboard layout. How Mac keys map to Windows keys
Most shortcuts swap ⌘ (Command) for Ctrl and ⌥ (Option) for Alt. A few change more than that, so don't translate them in your head. Create component is ⌥⌘K on Mac but Ctrl + Alt + K on Windows. Go to main component is ⌃⌥⌘K on Mac and Ctrl + Alt + Shift + K on Windows. Pixel preview is ⌃P on Mac and Ctrl + Alt + P on Windows. Suggest auto layout is ⌃⇧A on Mac and Ctrl + Alt + Shift + A on Windows. Single-letter keys like F, K and C, and Shift combinations like ⇧1, are the same on both.
In the tables below, Mac symbols read as: ⌘ Command, ⌥ Option, ⌃ Control, ⇧ Shift.

For letter spacing, the text properties article (⌥ on Mac, Alt on Windows) is the more specific source, so the Text table above uses it. One text page also prints underline as Option+U on Mac; ⌘U is the likelier key.
Commonly used but not documented by Figma
These keys circulate in cheat sheets and many designers use them, but no help.figma.com article lists them. Treat them as things to try, and confirm in the shortcuts panel.

- Strikethrough, text alignment, next or previous frame, opening the variables panel and crop have no documented key.
The shortcuts worth learning first
If you only learn a handful, pick the ones you'd otherwise reach for the sidebar to do: ⇧A for auto layout, ⌥⌘K / Ctrl + Alt + K for components, ⇧1 and ⇧2 to get around the canvas, ⌘\ / Ctrl + \ to hide the UI, and ⌘K / Ctrl + K for everything else. The Actions menu covers any command you haven't memorised.

How do I see all keyboard shortcuts in Figma?
Press Ctrl+Shift+? on Mac or Windows to open the keyboard shortcuts panel. It lists Figma's shortcuts, and its Layout tab lets you match them to your keyboard.
Are Figma shortcuts different on Windows?
Mostly, ⌘ on Mac becomes Ctrl on Windows and ⌥ becomes Alt. Some change more than that: Create component is ⌥⌘K on Mac and Ctrl+Alt+K on Windows, and Pixel preview is ⌃P on Mac and Ctrl+Alt+P on Windows.
What is the redo shortcut in Figma?
Figma's help center documents Undo (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z) but not Redo. Redo is commonly ⇧⌘Z on Mac and Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y on Windows. Check the shortcuts panel to confirm on your setup.
Can I change keyboard shortcuts in Figma?
Figma doesn't document a way to rebind shortcuts. You can change the keyboard layout (15 are supported) in the shortcuts panel's Layout tab or under Preferences → Keyboard layout, which fixes most shortcuts that break on non-US keyboards.
Is there a Figma shortcuts PDF?
