What to look for
Figma can now export some motion natively. Animations built with Figma Motion (open beta) export as GIF, MP4 or WebM from the Animated tab, with a loop option for GIFs; exports above 1920×1080 or 30 FPS need a paid plan. Regular frames, Smart Animate prototypes and imported GIF fills don't export as moving files on their own, which is the gap these plugins fill. Resolution and frame rate caps
Check the maximum size and FPS on the free tier. Figma Motion itself caps free exports at 1920×1080 and 30 FPS; some plugins cap lower until you pay.

GIFs get heavy fast. Look for colour count, scale and quality settings, or plan to compress afterwards with TinyImage Compressor, which handles GIF, MP4 and WebM.
